Christina Khater ‘07
The LAU Alumni Association is proud to recognize Christina Khater (BS ‘07) as the recipient of the 2025 Alumni Achievement Award for her exceptional accomplishments as a visionary entrepreneur, creative leader, and social innovator.
At just 23, Christina founded KristiesLab, transforming it from a bedroom startup into one of the region’s premier event management and brand communication agencies. With a presence across Lebanon, the Gulf, and beyond, the agency now leads hundreds of high-profile campaigns and events, employing over 200 professionals.
Her groundbreaking work includes launching the first digital motor show in the region for Mercedes-Benz and maintaining KristiesLab’s strong commitment to gender equality, recognized by an 88% adherence to UN Women’s Empowerment Principles.
Christina’s leadership has earned her global acclaim:
- Global 200 Women Power Leaders (2024)
- Woman Entrepreneur of the Year (2016-2017)
- Vital Voices VVGrow Fellow
- Global Entrepreneurship Summit Delegate (2016)
But it is her social impact that truly defines her legacy. Following the Beirut port explosion, she led the One Home at a Time initiative, restoring 87 homes and launching Flip for Beirut, a creative fundraising campaign for affected families. Through her NGO Unconditional, she mentors young women, promotes economic inclusion, and champions SDG 5 as a gender equality advocate within the Global Compact Network Lebanon.
A role model for resilience, Christina has navigated economic crises, war, and national tragedy—always turning adversity into action. Her message to youth: “Passion is everything. Your power comes from within.”
Congratulations, Christina Khater — your journey exemplifies the spirit of achievement LAU seeks to celebrate.
