Mrs. Fatin Ataya El Saadi
Mrs. Fatin Ataya El Saadi (‘72) established Dar Jana International School in Jeddah, guiding the development of its educational program, support services, infrastructure, policies and procedures. As the educational leader and chief administrator of the school, she led and implemented its growth plan from 27 students in 1999 to more than 6,000 students in 2016, as well as its facilities expansion plan from 5000 m2 to 19800 m2. El Saadi drove the diversity initiative across 1,000 employees and 6,000 students while achieving A-Class ranking on Saudization and developing the school’s short, medium, and long-term strategic and financial plans.
El Saadi has headed the school’s accreditation and improvement process since 2005, upgrading its curricula, assessment methods, teaching strategies, and quality assurance. She initiated and led the integration of technology in all school operations and in learning, and developed a customized in-house Teaching Certificate Program in collaboration with the American University of Beirut for three consecutive years.
