Alumni in action in times of crisis with alumna “Sarah Yassine”

Meet @sarahyassinefawaz , an inspiring alumna known as @mamas.joy , who is tirelessly supporting displaced families in Beirut and surrounding areas. With her dedicated team of volunteers, she’s providing essentials to keep families safe and fed during this ongoing conflict. “I couldn’t stand by and ignore the urgent needs of the nearly 1 million displaced people who require support,” confesses Sarah.
To date, Sarah and her team have delivered donations to around 212 locations, helping over 500 families and impacting a total of 250,000 individuals.
We at LAU are incredibly proud to stand alongside Sarah and all our alumni working on the ground to support our community. Together, we can make a difference!
