Riyadh Chapter Iftar

The LAU Alumni - Riyadh Chapter held an Iftar gathering in Riyadh on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Amar Restaurant, owned by LAU alumnus Karl Atallah. The event brought together around 150 alumni, along with their families and friends, in a warm atmosphere of reconnection and community.
The gathering provided an opportunity for LAU President Dr. Chaouki Abdallah to meet with alumni and members of the LAU community in Riyadh and share updates on the university’s latest achievements, ongoing initiatives, and future plans.
The evening was honored by the presence of H.E. Ali Karanouh, Ambassador of Lebanon to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and H.E. Fouad Khazzaka, Consul of Lebanon to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
LAU and the Alumni Relations Office extend their sincere gratitude to the Riyadh Chapter committee members: Ramzi Bizri, Zaher Raidan, Reem Yassine, Cindrella Semaan, Abdul Razzak Al Moghrabi, Sahar Jamal, and Samir Hathout, for their dedication in organizing this meaningful event and for being such gracious hosts throughout the evening.
