Bahrain Chapter Dinner 2019

LAU’s alumni chapter in Bahrain held its annual dinner this year on Friday November 29 at Café Italia in Manama. Around 130 alumni and friends attended the dinner including the President of LAU Dr. Joseph Jabbra, LAU’s Vice President for University Advancement Dr. George Najjar, the Central Bank of Bahrain governor Mr. Rasheed Al Maraj, the President of the University of Bahrain Prof. Riyad Hamzah and the Vice President of Arabian Gulf University Dr. Khaled Tabbara. At the dinner this year, the organizing committee honored the founders of the chapter in Bahrain, BCW alumnae Safia Dowaigher, Bahea Juma, Mariam Al Doy,  Shaikha Abul, Munira Fakhro, Alima Al Kouche and Zahra Al Jubeyli. The evening was entertained by a live band and a DJ.
