An LAU/WLCU Joint Event: New and Exciting Trends in Lebanese Music
The LAU alumni chapter in San Francisco and the World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU) came together to organize a special event entitled “New and Exciting Trends in Lebanese Music”. The event was held on February 11th from 1 to 5 pm at Tannourine Restaurant, and was a resounding success with alumni and friends in attendance. The highlight of the event was a presentation by Dr. Ramzi Salti from Stanford University, who shared his vast knowledge of Lebanese music with the audience. Attendees were treated to a wonderful afternoon of music, culture, and community as they enjoyed the lively and informative presentation. Overall, the event was a wonderful example of how the LAU alumni chapter and the WLCU are working together to promote Lebanese culture and bring people together in the San Francisco Bay Area.
