On Sunday August 20, a beautiful Montreal summer day, 67 people from LAU & USJ alumni chapters along with their families & friends came together to celebrate a picnic & to raise funds for financial aid students.

For the past few years, the Lebanese American University as well as many universities in Lebanon increased financial aid budgets to cater for an increasing number of students who were no longer able to continue their studies.

This picnic gathering was a significant occasion to reflect on the meanings of hope, perseverance & community engagement
