LAU Alumni - London Chapter Iftar

The new committee of the LAU alumni London chapter organized its first Iftar event on Tuesday March 28 at al Waha restaurant, a Lebanese restaurant in Bayswater, London. The event was attended by Mr. Philip Stoltzfus, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of LAU, the Ambassador of Lebanon to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland His Excellency Ambassador Rami Mortada, the First Secretary at the Embassy of Lebanon Ms. Rasha Haddad, and many LAU alumni and friends. The atmosphere was pleasant and homely, and reminded the guests of LAU and its vicinity. The organizing committee received congratulations for its efforts and promised to bring people together again soon and keep LAU’s mission of supporting its diverse community.
